Adding bug 552 ("Xprint version 009 doesn't build w/ gcc-3.40") - already fixed on oldcvs-trunk. Adding bug 451 ("/usr/share/fonts/ may not exist on a Linux installation"). Adding bug 608 ("Can't print on Debian/CUPS due to error 'Xprt_64: lpr: unable to print file: server-error-not-accepting-jobs'"). Some minor Debian bugs might be worth addressing now. They're just nit-picky ones over text details: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=233821 "/etc/X11/Xsession.d/92xprint-xpserverlist refers to /usr/dt/config/Xsession.d/" http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=238462 /etc/init.d/xprint looks for /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fs/config and complains when it doesn't find it (but does start up Xprt anyway). /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fs/config should be ignored (no warning) if it isn't there? These other bugs might be safe to ignore, but I want to bring them to your attention in case you know something I don't :) ... http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=236853 Should /etc/init.d/xprint concern itself with /etc/X11/xfs/config? (which doesn't seem to be supplied by any Debian package, we don't know why the report has it on his system). http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=249853 Reports that Xprt does not print without cupsys-bsd. I haven't had time to test this yet myself, but this was supposed to have been fixed in v0.9. Together with bug #250490, it's almost as if the v0.8 code has mysteriously got into the Debian v0.9 package. But, "it works for me".... Closing due to all of this bug's dependencies being closed. :3 |
