Modular Xorg/X11R7 is "xorg" product in bugzilla - moving there. Created attachment 6245 [details]
Log from 'Xorg -configure'
I'm seeing a similar problem, also with gentoo. If you think the "upstream"
diagnosis that Stoian got is incorrect, I'd be happy to re-open the bug against
gentoo with whatever additional info you can provide.
I've compiled the following drivers, none of which want to load: fbdev mga v4l
vesa vga. My video card is:
# lspci | grep -i vga
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Matrox Graphics, Inc. MGA G550 AGP (rev 01)
Please let me know if you need any additional information.
Is this still an issue with current releases? I was able to get around this problem by upgrading to 7.1, so I'd say no. Closing, please reopen if you're still seeing this. |
