Currently there is no DRI support for smi chips. It is on my todo list, but I can't say when I'll get to it. In the meantime, you can play with dualhead support (see bug 7328). The smi chips also have a MC controller (which would help with DVDs), but I don't know that I'll ever get around to writing an XvMC driver. If you feel motivated, smi publishes the databooks for all their chips on their website. There is no DRI support for this chip. |
