see http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=346166. While it looks like most
of the bug has been fixed, I noticed a cosmetic issue when comparing with
acroread. The arrow is antialiased in acroread while it is not in evince. See
attached screenshot

This is a wish not a bug.

The cairo backend has antialiasing.

Is this bug still valid?

I guess it has been fixed. (I'm not sure, since I use cairo and I don't know whether the splash backend has problems with it.)

Splash backend also antialases this arrow
