The problem is still here after update to 3.13.5-1. Logs attached. The problem is still here after update to 3.13.7-1. dmesg attached. I found out that before 3.13.7-1 laptop hangs if radeon.dpm=1 is in grub configuration, without radeon.dpm=1 laptop boots, but discrete card is unavailable. After upgrade to 3.13.7-1 I found out that laptop boots both with and without radeon.dpm=1, but in either case discrete card is still unavailable. Created attachment 96946 [details]

dmesg, 3.13.7-1
Does booting with radeon.runpm=0 on the kernel command line in grub fix the issue? *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 75127 *** Yes, with radeon.runpm=0 laptop boots without error messages, and discrete card is available. DRI_PRIME works as with linux 3.12. |
