+1, fwiw. +1, fwiw. +1 Hey, I think I managed to create an account for you. Please re-open if this is not the case. Martin Created attachment 113150 [details]
my ssh public key
Hi Martin and Sitewranglers, Thank you for setting up my account. Unfortunately it does not work for some reason. Below I have included the output of ssh -v. The private key is in "/home/chris/.ssh/id_rsa_xorg" and that key is tried by ssh according to the output of ssh -v. Can you please check why this does not work? I have attached the corresponding public key to this message for your reference. I have given it type application/octet-stream so you get the exact public key. Thank you, Chris The output of ssh -v: ======================================== chris@ws1:~$ ssh -v clinhart@annarchy.freedesktop.org OpenSSH_5.5p1 Debian-6+squeeze5, OpenSSL 0.9.8o 01 Jun 2010 debug1: Reading configuration data /home/chris/.ssh/config debug1: Reading configuration data /etc/ssh/ssh_config debug1: Applying options for * debug1: Connecting to annarchy.freedesktop.org [131.252.210.176] port 22. debug1: Connection established. debug1: identity file /home/chris/.ssh/id_rsa type 1 debug1: Checking blacklist file /usr/share/ssh/blacklist.RSA-2048 debug1: Checking blacklist file /etc/ssh/blacklist.RSA-2048 debug1: identity file /home/chris/.ssh/id_rsa-cert type -1 debug1: identity file /home/chris/.ssh/id_rsa_xorg type 1 debug1: Checking blacklist file /usr/share/ssh/blacklist.RSA-2048 debug1: Checking blacklist file /etc/ssh/blacklist.RSA-2048 debug1: identity file /home/chris/.ssh/id_rsa_xorg-cert type -1 debug1: Remote protocol version 2.0, remote software version OpenSSH_6.0p1 Debian-4+deb7u2 debug1: match: OpenSSH_6.0p1 Debian-4+deb7u2 pat OpenSSH* debug1: Enabling compatibility mode for protocol 2.0 debug1: Local version string SSH-2.0-OpenSSH_5.5p1 Debian-6+squeeze5 debug1: SSH2_MSG_KEXINIT sent debug1: SSH2_MSG_KEXINIT received debug1: kex: server->client aes128-ctr hmac-md5 none debug1: kex: client->server aes128-ctr hmac-md5 none debug1: SSH2_MSG_KEX_DH_GEX_REQUEST(1024<1024<8192) sent debug1: expecting SSH2_MSG_KEX_DH_GEX_GROUP debug1: SSH2_MSG_KEX_DH_GEX_INIT sent debug1: expecting SSH2_MSG_KEX_DH_GEX_REPLY debug1: Host 'annarchy.freedesktop.org' is known and matches the RSA host key. debug1: Found key in /home/chris/.ssh/known_hosts:40 debug1: ssh_rsa_verify: signature correct debug1: SSH2_MSG_NEWKEYS sent debug1: expecting SSH2_MSG_NEWKEYS debug1: SSH2_MSG_NEWKEYS received debug1: Roaming not allowed by server debug1: SSH2_MSG_SERVICE_REQUEST sent debug1: SSH2_MSG_SERVICE_ACCEPT received debug1: Authentications that can continue: publickey debug1: Next authentication method: publickey debug1: Offering public key: /home/chris/.ssh/id_rsa debug1: Authentications that can continue: publickey debug1: Offering public key: /home/chris/.ssh/id_rsa_xorg debug1: Authentications that can continue: publickey debug1: No more authentication methods to try. Hey, The stars managed to align properly today and it would seem that your account is fixed now. I apparently had to add you to a group which I apparently did not do for some stupid reason. Thanks to Mithrandir for telling me how to fix this issue! Please re-open if it does not work! Martin PS: Sorry for the delay... Created attachment 113486 [details]

my signed request for installing a new ssh key
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi Martin, Thank you for fixing it. It theoretically works, but I am ashamed to admit that I have forgotten my passphrase in the meantime. I have created a new key-pair and attached the new key to this ticket. I have signed this request with my GPG-key and attached the signed request, too. Can you please install the new key instead of the old one? Thank you, and sorry for the troubles. Chris P.S.: Here's my new public key, too: ssh-rsa AAAAB3NzaC1yc2EAAAADAQABAAABAQC+uVeSH3TusXsapoKc+eC3tZ36Pjutiv/VN3pU+pnWHZJhSJaSIoIcg8Ywx/HPDL0Yx29ROYnMvG+WVrDulvYFxKUDEbMvQ2uoIYO6ByHi/VEeR2pHSmb1KvuMTUhFN8CQALhBft8TUwmEA8oTpMYG2oLegPxo/vlOXK5EwIP31VGKm4mw55UOz9+8fwzpjZ2a9GPHFHuIcc6fCxRQ9AZ7EzzLFaiZQinQm+Ejw02V27haTazhp/3vxaj9yU1ybKkZvAIwfqeY2kMcPKTASkiZMynkBQ6uy1/+pwQsxD99tm/A0MhxZYkyCGCS38vV9ibKBpchFqC0rlkpHvq1/40F chris@demorecorder.com -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.10 (GNU/Linux) iQEcBAEBAgAGBQJU3x1ZAAoJEH0bXngTJzT/svoH/3VbIeoR0Dc6bMTJxQ+NKo6K G2iw8O6a8yxgSSSaDzq9rQOSdhNLZ8yFdp6WvWlDa5u61k6U6saW9V5xX/vKuFHv DFpIAk1GMgBYyGfWuM3ocY2Ml0RwYDoQU/fnNZg6dHHdUDsMGLcwK4r5cuRK82Uf KyYEmcSWxw9fAJYVpZcLBEN4xQUmVdzKp4jrPIL8z75k/XcrDa84OQpxgG7XBeXl HFtlPOZ1PaLFcprBdIa3/toNX8dPwtmUjd0OytsHSM3X5b6/CKrpXAxH2cgBZ0qn m4V91YgilIfzQvSKSVOtWgU2EWTxisV8OPYsmvxlnAvKnxwD6MbC95epiMwaEmI= =Mpp6 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- (In reply to Christian Linhart from comment #10) > -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- > Hash: SHA1 > > > > Hi Martin, > > Thank you for fixing it.
