Please attach a drm.debug=0xf dmesg from across the VT switch. Something like: In X, "echo 0xf > /sys/module/drm/parameters/debug ; sleep 10; echo 0 > /sys/module/drm/parameters/debug" VT switch to Mir wait 10 second to capture the flicker VT switch to X dmesg && attach Created attachment 113111 [details]

Probably a duplicate of bug 90508. Could you give the patch referenced there a try? Created attachment 116362 [details] dmesg.txt (In reply to Ander Conselvan de Oliveira from comment #3) > Probably a duplicate of bug 90508. Could you give the patch referenced there > a try? Bug #90508 is fixed in kernel-4.0.4-301. I'm using kernel-4.0.4-303 and I still got that issue. Fedora 22 Workstation, x86_64. After VT switch to X, I got this: [ 5427.787710] [drm:intel_cpu_fifo_underrun_irq_handler [i915]] *ERROR* CPU pipe A FIFO underrun Francesco, please open a separate bug report and include dmesg with drm.debug=0xe from boot to the point where you get the FIFO underrun. (In reply to Ander Conselvan de Oliveira from comment #5) > Francesco, please open a separate bug report and include dmesg with > drm.debug=0xe from boot to the point where you get the FIFO underrun. Done. Here's the link (in the case they could be related somehow): https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=90896 Please try kernel v4.4. Very old, still valid issue? Due to the lack of response this bug will be closed, if the problem still occurs please open a new bug with updated logs, make sure the latest kernel is been used as well. |
