[ 72.932067] [drm] stuck on render ring
[ 72.932884] [drm] GPU HANG: ecode 8:0:0x9edefff1, in kwin [688], reason: Ring hung, action: reset
[ 72.932886] [drm] GPU hangs can indicate a bug anywhere in the entire gfx stack, including userspace.
[ 72.932887] [drm] Please file a _new_ bug report on bugs.freedesktop.org against DRI -> DRM/Intel

Have you checked whether it's the same as bug #89915 (see there for workaround and fix)? See also bug #90342.

@Jerome, thank you for your hint to https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=89915

I installed Kernel v4.0.9 and resume is working now without error.
