Brief Error Log
From a quick look at your log you likely have a wrong libGL or dri module laying around, make sure the one from 6.5.2-rc2 are used and properly installed. You may also want to try with final 6.5.2 release. Created attachment 7949 [details]

Screenshot of the Problem
This is what i see. Now one thing i do want to point out is that compiz has
never been so fast on this computer ... direct rendering does work. I am using
aiglx.
Please attach the full X server log file and any relevant output from compiz. Created attachment 7960 [details]

Xorg.log with compiz
Xorg log when compiz is enabled. compiz itself does not give any errors.
(In reply to comment #5) > Please attach the full X server log file and any relevant output from compiz. Is this enough info or should I keep digging? -thanks justin I saw similar problems that were the result of building xorg-server against another mesa-version than the one installed. (In reply to comment #9) > I saw similar problems that were the result of building xorg-server against > another mesa-version than the one installed. i will look into this - thank you Hanno Boeck was correct. So i am marking this bug as Resolved and Invalid. Thank you to all that looked at it and gave suggestions. Mass version move, cvs -> git |
