Workaround: It seems that deactivating PIN authentication (Using Windows in my case) solved the problem. There are 2 ways to handle PIN unlocking: * Setup the PIN in the network manager connection settings. When the connection is activated in NM, the PIN will get unlocked. * Have your shell or some other system perform the PIN unlocking procedure. In older GNOMEs, the network-manager-applet would take care of this for you. In newer GNOMEs, this process is no longer done by gnome-shell. You may want to check this gnome bug: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=685331 Update: There is a little problem with Arch. In fact, 3g internet access halts after few seconds of successful connection. Another user had the same trouble which has been manager by switching to netctl/wvdial https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=206765 (Not sure though if it is a problem related to arch or Modem Manager + Network Manager) Thanks. |
