I now dissabled the metacity theme support and compiz seems to run much more stable, in fact, I cannot reproduce the crash with compiz' build-in window deco. Hi Michael, Can you provide a backtrace of the crash? More info is here: http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/compiz/2006-December/001068.html Thanks, I changed back to the metacity decorator a few days ago and didn't see any crashes since then. Perhaps it has been fixed already. If I see the crash again i'll try to provide the needed info. Yes this seems to be fix since 30.12. At least here it works great with the latest version.
