The unity version I used for this 5.3.4f1 which isn't free software but can be obtained gratis from here: http://forum.unity3d.com/threads/unity-on-linux-release-notes-and-known-issues.350256/#post-2559296 The crashes seem to be mainly caused by the editor but at least once running the game test seems to have caused it for me as well. The crashes happen regularly after 2-3 hours of editor usage.
