It is the NNTP equivalent of application/x-bittorrent. If you want an example of an app that would need it: http://www.bnr2.org/ KDE 4.4.4 still provides it with the root-XML namespacing tag. Pino, you remembered why it was there?

Yes, because I kind of forgot to remove it from there, I'll do it now. In the meanwhile, I'll attach the a new version of the patch, with the test case taken from the specs. I can commit if it is okay.
