Was this only one time failure that you got? Or continuous?
Looks like, commit 5d4bac5503fcc67dd7999571e243cee49371aef7 Author: Chris Wilson <chris@chris-wilson.co.uk> Date: Wed Mar 22 20:59:30 2017 +0000 drm/i915: Restore marking context objects as dirty on pinning but predates the regression. So actually likely to be commit 5ab57c7020697942ea15f45ad14c69cecb164329 [v4.9] Author: Chris Wilson <chris@chris-wilson.co.uk> Date: Fri Jul 15 14:56:20 2016 +0100 drm/i915: Flush logical context image out to memory upon suspend
(In reply to Jari Tahvanainen from comment #1) > Was this only one time failure that you got? Or continuous? Currently everytime the machine wakes from suspend, the login screen appears but it does not work. I wait a little. Sometimes it blinks and the login screen comes back to normal (I can type my password in the login box, wifi is connected in the network menu). But sometimes, a message about "runnning in low graphics mode" appears. It is possible to click OK at least once and then the normal login screen comes back.
rimcaw@zoho.com seems that you are presenting a another bug, please open a new bug and attach logs, for the GPU Hang seems to be fixed... Closing
