Thanks for your bug report!

Where are these cursors typicall stored? Don't they have an associated glob pattern?
Comment 3 Pino Toscano 2007-03-08 07:51:09 UTC
In my Debian installation, they are "mixed" with the icon themes: /usr/share/icons/.
Some folders hold X11 cursor themes, eg crystalcursors/, Industrial, etc.
Unfortunately, they have no glob, just the starting magic.

Btw, I should "fix" my patch, as they are "images", so maybe the proper mimetype is image/x-xcursor (as we use in KDE).
(I'll attach a patch for image/x-cursor, so you can choose ;) .)

Comment 5 Christian - Manny Calavera - Neumair 2007-03-08 08:01:43 UTC
OK, I see - the files really have no extension. Why did you raise the priority to 80, are there any potential conflicts?
Comment 6 Pino Toscano 2007-03-08 08:10:29 UTC
Hm well, the fact that they have no extensions, and the magic is just the first four characters, made me think about having an higher priority for the magic.
Comment 7 Christian - Manny Calavera - Neumair 2007-03-08 08:17:05 UTC
OK, I used the "image/" variant of your patch, but lowered the priority to 50. This is really meant for subtypes of container formats (like Ogg).

Fixed. Closing.
