Description Dan McNichol 2007-02-22 15:06:17 UTC
There could be GPL contamination with these files:
xorg-server-1.1.1/hw/xfree86/int10/helper_exec.c
xorg-server-1.1.1/hw/xfree86/int10/helper_mem.c

Both of these files contain comments indicating at least part of the
code was lifted from the DOSEMU project, which is GPL licensed code.

These files contain no license information, and no indication that
the DOSEMU authors allowed relicense under the MIT/X11 license.

Sorry about the phenomenal bug spam, guys. Adding xorg-team@ to the QA contact so bugs don't get lost in future.
Comment 2 Eric Anholt 2007-08-30 11:32:25 UTC
Comment fix removing the confusion has been pushed to master and server-1.4-branch.
