Install the kernel Linux version of the 4.8.1 system, can not enter the system after the restart, the screen is in the test mode, red green and blue screen switching state. After updating the kernel version of 4.8.13, there is still such a state, Ubuntu 14.04 and the same is true of the, and the windows 10 system is a normal state.

Why are you reporting this against Beignet and not graphics (DRI, Xorg, Mesa)?

What hardware?

Do you have two Linux partitions (and if so, which distribution has the 4.8.1/4.8.13 kernels), or one Ubuntu 14.04 partition with both its stock kernel (3.13.0) and 4.8.13?  Did Ubuntu 14.04 work before you installed 4.8.x, or are both of them new installs?

Can you boot in text (recovery) mode?  If so, please attach kern.log and Xorg.0.log(.old).
