Description Martin Peres 2017-05-05 06:54:15 UTC
The tests igt@kms_pipe_crc_basic@suspend-read-crc-pipe-a/b generate fail the following assertion.

rtcwake: write error
(kms_pipe_crc_basic:2242) igt-aux-CRITICAL: Test assertion failure function suspend_via_rtcwake, file igt_aux.c:752:
(kms_pipe_crc_basic:2242) igt-aux-CRITICAL: Failed assertion: system(cmd) == 0
(kms_pipe_crc_basic:2242) igt-aux-CRITICAL: This failure means that something is wrong with the rtcwake tool or how your distro is set up. This is not a i915.ko or i-g-t bug.

Comment 1 Chris Wilson 2017-05-05 08:46:29 UTC
There's a bug here but it's not rtcwake. It's the earlier GPU hang killing the machine/driver, as a result of the failed reset in bug 100942

*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 100943 ***

Thanks for investigating Chris!
