Description Christian Kellner 2017-05-09 16:39:45 UTC
Currently we have sounds to tests speakers for front center, light, right and so on, that will be used by e.g. gnome-control-center's sound setting to test speakers. For mono speaker test (i.e. bluetooth headsets HFP/FSP) audio-test-signal.oga is used, which can easily be mistaken as broken audio (hint: I did). It would be nice to have a dedicated mono test file.

NB: gnome's control center tries to look for a "audio-channel-mono" (and also "audio-channel-front-left-of-center", "audio-channel-front-right-of-center", which we also don't have).

There's no maintainer for this package. Best would be to ask Lennart to vouch for commit access and ask for that access.
