Description Patryk Nadrowski 2017-05-11 20:15:31 UTC
Hello,

Today I installed mesa-git drivers from padoka ppa (drivers from 08.05.2017) and I see instant crash in Shadow of Mordor after an intro movies (game menu stage). When I reverted mesa packages to older packages from padoka ppa (drivers from 02.05.2017) all works fine again.

My platform:
Gnome Ubuntu 17.04 x64
AMD Ryzen 5 1600X
16GB 3200MHz RAM
Radeon R9 380 2GB

BTW. I don't have any logs from terminal, because I don't know how to run this game directly - no via Steam. When I just run Steam from terminal and SoM from there I just have logs from Steam...

Best regards,
Patryk

I have the exact same problem with the same driver versions.

Platform:
Linux Mint 18.1 x64
Kernel 4.11.0-041100-generic
Mesa package: 17.2~git170508140100.b84979d~
LLVM package: 5.0~svn301901-0~x~padoka0
AMD Ryzen 7 1700 @3.75Ghz
MSI RX 470 Gaming X @stock

From my testing, this has been fixed with the latest update from padoka ppa:
17.2~git170512235200.752a638~
The game launch properly now and I can pass a performance test without issue.

Thanks to whoever fixed it :)
