Description Adam Spiers 2017-05-19 10:34:48 UTC
docs/README.symbols says:

If the layout is country-based, the group name has to be the full name of
the country. It is highly discouraged to use forms like "Republic of XXX"
or "XXX Republic" -- the form "XXX" should be used instead. The only
exception is "United Kingdom".

However if I understand this correctly, the "United Kingdom" exception was removed by this commit:

So what is the issue?
Comment 2 Adam Spiers 2017-05-22 00:07:20 UTC
The issue is that the documentation wasn't updated to reflect the current reality. I can happily submit a patch, but I wanted to first check I wasn't misunderstanding.

I think you are right, UK is not an exception. What documentation do you have in mind, if I may ask?
Comment 4 Adam Spiers 2017-05-22 00:23:51 UTC
It's the documentation I referred to in the original bug report.

Got it. Sorry for being slow:)

Thanks, committed the fix.
