Steps:

1) Load Blender
2) File -> User preferences -> System -> Cycles computer device = None

Blender uses whitelist of supported platform, clover is not a supported platform.
if you run:
blender --debug-cycles
you should see message(s) like:
"Ignoring device ..., not officially supported yet"

running:
CYCLES_OPENCL_SPLIT_KERNEL_TEST=1 blender

will make clover devices visible to blender

While it does render, it's not a perfect render, there are "dithered" areas which should not be there and which should be smooth colour.

it's surprising that it completed given bug #102009 on a very similar hw.
either way it is a different bug.
please open a new bug report if it hasn't been reported yet.
