CS:GO Dust 2 Purple

Using mesa from this PPA https://launchpad.net/~paulo-miguel-dias/+archive/ubuntu/mesa on Linux Mint 18.1 with Linux 4.10 provided by the Linux Mint kernel updater

This is how my game looks like. The default performance without an updated kernel + mesa is horrible, so I have to resort to the latest version.

I am not certain if this is the right place to report this. I apologise in advance if this is the case.

[You can't assume that anyone upstream knows the specifics of your distro or some private repo you're using]

A small recommendation:
 - List mesa version
 - List hardware (lspci -nn -d ::300 should generally be enough)

If you're interested in this being addressed faster:
 - Record an apitrace, such that when it is replayed, it shows the issue (https://github.com/apitrace/apitrace) and make this trace available.

Probably a duplicate of https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=101561 , now fixed in llvm trunk
Comment 4 Ernst Sjöstrand 2017-07-10 22:20:33 UTC
I saw this too. The next time Padoka updates LLVM that fix should come in, let's see if that fixes it.
Comment 5 Ernst Sjöstrand 2017-07-15 13:31:02 UTC
Fix in Padoka now.
