Dmesg log

Description: The system should be able to recover from S4 having the same process running that we were at before. 

Steps to reproduce:

1. #echo disk > /sys/power/state
2. push power button

Expected result:

The system should be in the same looking way as it was before getting in to S4 state. Same windows

Actual result:

The system reboots

Just adding additional information..

I ran the same test on Ubuntu 16.10 with the latest kernel and with the follow configuration... And the result was successful.
