While trying to debug a perf issue in lightsmark, I took an apitrace and, when replaying it saw GPU hangs on release builds and assertion failures on debug builds. The assertion failure was because we tried rendering to render to something that that clearly isn't renderable (it was DXT3) and it looks like it was hidden because it was inside of a display list. Hi Jason. I checked attached apitrace and found out that it crashes gapitrace tool with signal 11 (KBL). After checking also found out that trace file doesn't contain gl context creation thus making replay invalid. BUT - it works without crash on Sandy Bridge PC (slowly, with lags, but without crashes). So to summarize, there were no any gpu hangs on SNB. Notify please if this issue still actual for you and please provide your CPU gen.
