Description bferreira95pt 2017-09-02 11:50:14 UTC
I've been trying to run helium rain from steam, the past day and i've been getting constant system hangs, which then i then need to forcefully and manually reboot the system for it to function.

I've been in contact with the game developer and he told me it had something to do with the git master mesa, I don't really understand but I guess it's about a driver.

The game is using UE4.

I've tried to look for updates on my system, and there are none available.

It's probably connected to this: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=101731

This is my system specs:

I can confirm the hang with the following environment.

OpenGL renderer string: AMD Radeon (TM) RX 480 Graphics (AMD POLARIS10 / DRM 3.19.0 / 4.13.0-rc5-ARCH+, LLVM 4.0.1)
OpenGL core profile version string: 4.5 (Core Profile) Mesa 17.2.0

But can't be reproduced with:

OpenGL renderer string: AMD Radeon (TM) RX 480 Graphics (POLARIS10 / DRM 3.19.0 / 4.13.0-rc5-ARCH+, LLVM 6.0.0)
OpenGL core profile version string: 4.5 (Core Profile) Mesa 17.3.0-devel (git-49c72d84c2)
