dmesg

The system freezes around every 3-15 minutes. Sometimes the mousepointer is moveable, sometimes not.
If a second tty is opened before login, its possible to switch to tty2, than the GPU resets until the next freeze.
If no other tty is started, only power-off works, no reboot, no magic keys.

Hello Matt,
Could you try parameter suggested on https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=103034#c2
Thank you.

Hi, I am also experiencing this problem since kernel 4.13 on Broadwell hardware, also triggered reproducibly by systemd-logind. Unfortunately I was not able to capture the GPU crash dump. I will try booting with Intel iommu off.

System specs: Dell Inspiron 3558 with CPU Intel i5-5200U @ 2.1GHz, integrated GPU only.

Hello Elizabeth,
I applied the parameter via GRUB Kernel Commandline.
No GPU Hang since 3 Days.
Thank you.

Dell Latitude E7450 with i7-5600U no discrete GPU. Turbo-Boost disabled via Dells UEFI.
