Description Kim Lindberger 2017-09-25 13:29:48 UTC
Since version 1.7 the touchpad is reenabled on lid switch even if it was disabled before. In my case this means when I open my laptop (thinkpad x1 carbon gen3), and it unsuspends, I have to go into gnome settings and toggle the on/off-switch for the touchpad to have it disabled again.

I would guess that commit f1cf83425edd4fa64ac6601e569e10f8bc95324b is the culprit since it seems to unconditionally resume the touchpad in tp_lid_switch_event.

Should be fixed with 53d53dd18ef14484d632421027cd7b6130013cf0. Please reopen if that's still an issue
