Created attachment 134899 [details] Screenshot showing the incorrect rendering. $subject, basically. The windows' titles show some blending(?) artifacts around their text and button outlines, as you can see in the attached screenshot. When the window is maximised, rendering is correct. Verified on all of my i965 hardware (ILK, IVB, HSW 7.5 and SKL), but not on NVIDIA (ION, NVAC with nouveau). All machines running Ubuntu 17.10 with padoka's PPA (still pointing to zesty repos) on top of Linux 4.14-rc5.

Luis, can you please reproduce this?
Are you sure this isn't an issue with newer X server (see bug 103000) that you pulled from Padoka PPA?
(In reply to Eero Tamminen from comment #3) > Are you sure this isn't an issue with newer X server (see bug 103000) that > you pulled from Padoka PPA? Oh, not at all, with about 95 % confidence (will check again in the evening, I'm not at home, so I can't test now. I remember those crashes, but they were fixed after a couple of days). If I ppa-purge padoka's repo everything renders correctly. Additionally, as you can see, the screen captures I got were from the Radiance theme. On Ambiance, the whole title bar becomes way darker than it should be (almost black). In any case, let me know if I can provide you with any additional information you guys may need.
I was actually able to ssh into one of the machines and made it log in automatically, so I could see all the session logs. Like I suspected, there were no crashes.
I updated Mesa to today's build (padoka's artful repository, commit f9d239e11fe044de0e977fd1d3a62d9f6a92e49d) and the problem is gone. Maybe bug 103000 could also be closed (I read all the comments moments ago and it does indeed seem to be related to this one). Sorry for the noise, guys.
