In this case I attached the vive while the PC was running which caused a little freakout with my main display getting heavily distorted for a short time and my second monitor losing signal

Specs: Linux mint 18.2 
GTX 1070
i5-3570k
16gb Ram
2 other monitors attached (note monitor 2 stopped receiving signal when vive was attached)
