what i see when the game loads before exiting to desktop

Hello, when loading dying light from steam i get opengl erros that my gpu does not support opengl 3.3., then i set MESA_GL_VERSION_OVERRIDE=4.5 MESA_GLSL_VERSION_OVERRIDE=450 %command% in steam as it is recommended, in steam launch options and the game loads with no warnings but the screen is all black and all i can see is a white loading line,after the loading completes the game exits to desktop and i cannot play.

gpu: r7 240
driver: Mesa 17.3.1
kernel: 4.14.12

after further investigation and reading some posts at https://www.gamingonlinux.com/forum/topic/2766/page=7 the bug appears to be arch-steam related, closing...
