Name: GeoClue unix-ish version: geoclue brief description: GeoClue is a project that provides applications with a highly abstracted D-BUS interface to geography information services like positioning, geocoding and routing. A few backend implementations are included but more can be provided by other projects. What services are needed: mailing list wiki svn You'll probably need to setup also a first account that accepts the others? If that first account has some not-easily-transferable "owner" status, please let me know and I'll get a better person here. Otherwise just set it up for me: real name: Jussi Kukkonen preferred user name: jku email: jhkukkon@cc.hut.fi I'll attach my public keys soon Anything else you need?

Hello sitewranglers, It's been two weeks. Is there perhaps something missing from this request or am I just too impatient? If the former. please let me know. If the latter, please accept my apologies.
It seems I will have to pursue other venues for this (almost six weeks without a comment here)? This would be a shame, I think fd.o is a pretty good match for geoclue.
i've created the project, your account, a wiki, and the list. we don't usually provide subversion, though: is either git (preferable), or cvs (fallback) suitable for your needs?

Thank you. About svn: I had seen it on one freedesktop project and just assumed, sorry about that. I'll have to ask opinions on git/cvs issue, I'll get back to you.
Daniel, We discussed and decided that git is fine. Please do whatever magic is needed to get that online for us. Thanks.
done: ssh://git.freedesktop.org/git/geoclue git://anongit.freedesktop/git/geoclue
(In reply to comment #10) > done: ...and git's already working like charm. I was about to instruct another developer to get an account when I noticed that we should have a bugzilla product to do that (at least according to http://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/AccountRequests)... Originally I thought getting a bugzilla product would be overkill at this point, but if it is the preferred way of handling new accounts: Could you open us a product in bugzilla (a 'general' component is enough)?
closing after talking to daniels (we'll just file new account bugs on product "fd.o")
