gpu core dump

Hey!

Currently, I'm able to reproduce the GPU hang in 80% times.
The kernel I'm using is:
Linux madxps 4.15.6-1-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Sun Feb 25 12:53:23 UTC 2018 x86_64 GNU/Linux

The card i'm using is:
VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Device 591b (rev 04)

The userspace process to trigger the issue is: well, emacs...
In fact I never met this issue before I compiling emacs with -march=native...
So with a emacs compiled with -march=native simply call emacs-helm may reproduce it. (80% in my side. I know it's not easy to create the same environment... But I could provide strace output if needed :-)

Both the dmesg and gpu core dump are attached.

Thanks a lot in advance!

Hello, this looks a lot like https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=105195
Could you try to replicate with mesa 17.3.6 release? Thank you.

Howdy Elizabeth,

Thanks a lot! I just tested, the mesa17.3.6 fixes the issue.

Let me close the issue.
