The extras/Mesa need some love in the form of cvs rm.  It's got files from old
Mesa (oops, didn't remove during new imports) and the large extraneous bits
(programs, libglut, libGLU, what else?) should be removed to reduce dist size.

I think I've squashed what I wanted to.  Saved around 9 MB from the checkout.
