Hi, what is your mesa version? And what type of additional monitor do you have - mirrored or simple?
Thank you.

Hi, the mesa version is "18.0.5-1".
Im using 2 Monitors to span a single screen of 3840x1200:
- 1x Monitor 1920x1200 via VGA
- 1x Monitor 1920x1200 via HDMI set as primary display for KDE
- In KDE Systemsettings, the VGA monitor is positioned left of HDMI monitor.

thank you for additional information. One more question I forgot to ask - what you usually do when hangs occur? Navigation in the system, web browsers, or video players?
Also dmesg attach would be helpful because it will show the frequency of hangs during 1 session.

Hello, in most cases the hanging followed by a freeze occours in case i was using firefox with multiple tabs or/and with multiple running downloads.
In some cases it was hanging during synaptic package manager session while scrolling through the package list or initiate a package selection/deselection with larger dependency checks.

I failed to reproduce the hang using next config:

Debian/unstable
Kernel: 4.16.0-2-rt-amd64
Mesa: 18.0.5-1
DE: KDE Plasma (5.12.5) via xorg
2 full HD monitors, unfortunately without HDMI only vga + dp
CPU: i5-2400

I installed packages from packages snapshot dated 20180604T2224
