The test ran for its expected duration and appeared to idle. But it never exited.

If we didn't use owatch, but perhaps something that actually allowed us to capture the dmesg...

Discarding in the hope that the new runner gathers a bit more information for us in cases like these.

Agreed, the new runner should kill this, resulting in a timeout. Closing this bug!
