I maintain HDMI CEC support in the kernel which is spread out over the media subsystem (HDMI receivers) and the drm subsystem (HDMI transmitters). It makes my life much easier if I can have commit right to drm-misc.

Alex Deucher suggested I do this.

I've created your account now, so you should be able to use dim to push to drm-misc in the next 5-10 minutes. dim comes with pretty extensive documentation on the workflow within DRM and how to push new trees.

The account request was missing most of the requested information, so I guessed a username of 'hverkuil' and forwarding address of hverkuil@xs4all.nl. Hope that's correct.

... the fairly extensive documentation Daniel was talking about.
