Description Mairi 2007-04-28 10:38:50 UTC
could not send the dbus Inhibit signal: Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken.

This is what I get when I open update-manager in Ubuntu, then tell it to check for updates. Yet, everything seems fine. I thought perhaps it should be mentioned,

This is unlikely to be a dbus bug, it is probably something to do with update-manager or gnome-power-manager.
Comment 2 John (J5) Palmieri 2007-04-28 11:51:57 UTC
Sounds like a powermanager thing to make sure you don't go to sleep while updating. Anyway I would file this uptream on Umbuntu's update manager
