Full Kernel Bug Output

Trying to launch RetroArch's Nestopia core with this machine (using an AMD Vega 56) throws the following error (full output attached):

kernel BUG at drivers/gpu/drm/amd/amdgpu/../display/amdgpu_dm/amdgpu_dm.c:4970!

This is repeatable 100% of the time (although the number at the end appears to differ).

Do you see this occur on the amd-staging-drm-next branch from:

https://cgit.freedesktop.org/~agd5f/linux/log/?h=amd-staging-drm-next ?

If yes, then it would also help to know more about your userspace environment:

- Are you using X or Wayland?
- If you're using X, are you using xf86-video-amdgpu?

Pulseaudio HDMI Sink Errors

I'll try amd-staging-drm-next but I've been getting almost non-stop errors on that version of the kernel (anything using audio errors out often) so I've reverted back to the stock kernel. It happens on the stock kernel too, but less often. I've attached an example of those errors in case it's useful.

Regarding your other question, I'm using Xorg 1.20.3 with xf86-video-amdgpu 18.1.
