Hi, sadly with 5.0-rc1 a new bug was introduced for my vega based laptop. As soon as the laptop display gets powered off due to power saving, it doesn't get powered on again when touching the keyboard. You have to manually adjust the brightness using the display brightness key on the keyboard for being able to see the desktop again. This does not happen with kernel 4.20. Please attach your dmesg output and xorg log (if using X). Possibly a duplicate of bug 109375.

Hi, i just tested with a kernel build from today and the issue is fixed with it(is still present in 5.0-rc2) ! Seems it really was a duplicate of your mentioned bug. Many thanks ! Christian
