Description Martin Peres 2019-04-10 08:44:50 UTC

<7> [404.504660] [drm:intel_hdcp_auth [i915]] KSV list failed to become ready (-110)
<7> [404.504847] [drm:_intel_hdcp_enable [i915]] HDCP Auth failure (-110)
<7> [404.505023] [drm:_intel_hdcp_disable [i915]] [DP-1:85] HDCP is being disabled...
<7> [404.508366] [drm:_intel_hdcp_disable [i915]] HDCP is disabled
<7> [404.508583] [drm:_intel_hdcp_enable [i915]] HDCP authentication failed (3 tries/-110)
<3> [404.508789] [drm:intel_hdcp_check_work [i915]] *ERROR* Failed to enable hdcp (-110)

Why is this test trying to use HDCP? We should make DHCP gets disabled at the begining of all tests that are not HDCP-related.

Comment 3 Martin Peres 2019-04-11 07:41:46 UTC
GG, could you take a look at this? This should be a trivial patch but we need this fast as it causes a lot of noise in CI.
Comment 4 Ramalingam C 2019-04-16 10:10:29 UTC
Merged the required fix https://patchwork.freedesktop.org/series/59338/
Comment 5 Arek Hiler 2019-04-25 10:59:08 UTC
Seems that the fix indeed resolved the issue. It was seen about twice a day, but since the series landed 10 days ago it is all good.

Thanks Ram! Closing the issue.
