Patch to compile amdgpu-dkms 9.10 on debian buster (debian 10) and stretch

Hello,

Please find attached a patch so that one can compile the amdgpu-dkms 9.10 driver toward kernel 4.19 on debian stretch (with stretch-backports), and also on debian buster (version 10) which runs linux-4.19

The patch is made of:
 - a change to the Makefile so that it can compile well on debian and find the kernel version (using [make kernelversion])
 - a few changes to the code by renaming some functions whose names changes to allow compilation.

For information, you may find my current procedure to compile the driver on my debian setup here https://wiki.debian.org/How%20to%20install%20official%20AMDGPU%20linux%20driver%20with%20kernel%204.19.x%20on%20Stretch%20and%20Buster

Kind regards

Newer patch is for 19.20 (bug 111103), I attached it to the wrong bug

Hi thanks for the patch!

We are re-hauling the dkms package for 19.40, so please hold tight. In the future, it should work on more kernels without patches.

Closing as WONTFIX for now
