If I SetAlias to "" for a contact I get back a AliasChanged signal with contact's nick as new alias . If I reconnect I get the old alias.

After some testings it seems to work when the contact has a fullname but if it defaults to nick or jid I get the old alias back when reconnecting.

here's a remarkably long branch that fixes this bug and has some other cleanup in it.
