Let me set up the situation: I use compiz fusion's expo plugin to find out which viewport I'm in (it still happens without this enabled). I go to #1 (the leftmost viewport). I open any window, and drag it to the LEFT. When this happens, the cursor somehow stays on the left side too long, and wobbly messes up, thinking I had just moved a window from the left to the right side of the viewport in a split second. Then, i can drag the window back to #1 from #4, and the same thing happens. This DOES NOT happen when dragging to any face that's in numerical order. Looking at it again, I think it might have something to do with the fact that I move my cursor while the cube is still spinning, and I have the timestep up a little higher than default. Still, this should be fixed.
Actually, no. This still happens with a default timestep. However, it doesn't happen if you wait for the rotation to stop completely.
Ok, more details. It seems that it only happens if I move my cursor farther than 1/2 the screen while the flip is happening, and very quickly. This NEVER happens, however, when it isn't going between 1 and 4.
Are you still experiencing this in 2009?
Mass closure: This bug has been untouched for more than six years, and is not obviously still valid. Please reopen this bug or file a new report if you continue to experience issues with current releases.
