When X is started, my machine freezes: black screen, no response to keyboard, mouse or network (a ping process from another machine, started before X is launched, indicates that the machine stops responding to pings at the time of starting X). As a workaround, downgrading mga_drv.o to an older version fixes the problem. For full details (including versions, configuration, server log etc), see: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=125762 where the issue was originally raised. The problem is present in at least Fedora Core 1, 2, and Rawhide (xorg-x11-6.7.99.902-4.i386.rpm).
