Description Aaron Gyes 2004-08-27 22:04:41 UTC
If xcompmgr is running and I start a game (for example UT2004) in fullscreen,
xcompmgr will segfault.

nowhere near enough information for this bug report to be useful. at the very
least we'd need to know what driver you're using and what version of Xorg and
xcompmgr you're running.
Comment 2 Aaron Gyes 2004-08-30 12:36:32 UTC
I've got xorg 6.8.99 rc3.
xcompmgr is from cvs on august 21.
I'm using the binary nvidia drivers, I can't check this with the open source nv
dirivers because they can't start UT2004.
Comment 3 Dan Doel 2004-09-22 19:03:47 UTC
See if updating to the current xcompmgr cvs helps anything.
Comment 4 Melchior FRANZ 2004-10-05 08:03:54 UTC
This is most likely a duplicate of #1121, which isn't fixed yet. See there for
an analysis.

Reporter:

Tried xcompmgr -a (Oct 6th, 2005 latest)

Ran ET (Enemy Territory) full screen with Xorg 7.0 RC1 / and latest Mesa
CVS-HEAD, no crashes game functions fine.

Closing bug, if this is still a problem for you, please reopen.
Comment 6 Shawn Starr 2005-10-27 20:08:15 UTC
Can you confirm this works with your latest NVidia driver? It works for my
Radeon 9600 card.
Comment 7 Jerome Glisse 2009-05-20 05:27:48 UTC
Closing bug for inactivity, reopen if you still see this issue with recent xserver and ddx.
