This is a request to add the option to only make the cube zoom out when it is grabbed with the mouse cursor, and not when it is rotated with the keyboard. With fast settings, it feels like riding a tilt-a-whirl when snapping from side to side with the keyboard. This way it only zooms out when the cube is arbitrarily rotated in free space with the mouse. The patch file in the URL is how I have implemented this option. I have been applying this patch to the git checkouts for the past few weeks now.
