Description Sami Farin 2007-09-18 16:46:10 UTC
nothing odd in logs, except
exaCopyDirty: Pending damage region empty!

text gets garbled when scrolling.. I have one other screencap, too, if you like.

I tried with IA-32 and x86_64.
intel_drv is xf86-video-intel-2.1.0-88-gbda3c69

Comment 3 Michel Dänzer 2007-09-19 05:25:22 UTC
Works fine here with an i945G and a radeon based PowerBook, and I've heard success reports with the nouveau and mga drivers as well. So this seems driver / setup specific.

Does Option "Tiling" "off" make a difference?
Comment 4 Sami Farin 2007-09-19 07:56:50 UTC
Works with Tiling off.

This leads to questions like "why the broken setting is enabled by default".
Comment 5 Wang Zhenyu 2007-09-20 19:58:25 UTC
Sami, this should be fixed in git, could you try latest one?
Comment 6 Sami Farin 2007-09-21 04:38:06 UTC
I could try, if you stop dropping packets from my IP address.

Yes, EXA now works with and without "Tiling".
