Description Carl Michal 2007-09-22 18:23:19 UTC
If a 3d compositing window manager is active, the xv overlay doesn't seem to work.

Trying to display a video results in:

X11 error: BadAlloc (insufficient resources for operation)

from mplayer, and a black window is displayed.

Xine says:
X Error of failed request: BadAlloc (insufficient resources for operation)
Major opcode of failed request: 140 (XVideo)
Minor opcode of failed request: 19 ()
Serial number of failed request: 1796
Current serial number in output stream: 1797

I'm using an intel 915GM, and have xf86-video-intel-2.1.1

This was mentioned in bug #9930, but the problem was pretty different when that was filed.
