Description Sergey Kiselev 2007-10-15 13:38:00 UTC
SiS driver has no support for SiS662 chipset.
It works, but with noise (snow, vertical lines) especially then working with high resolution modes (1024x768, 1280x1024). XVideo overlay support is also broken.

SiS seems to have provided some "patches" a year ago (bug #9409), but apparently the quality wasn't good enough.

Are there any maintainer of sis driver??

Thomas Winischhofer say in his homepage:

(2007/10/06) Despite of what is written below: Development is ceased. The source of the Premium version is available for download here. THERE IS NO SUPPORT WHATSOEVER FOR THIS CODE. A BINARY IS NOT AVAILABLE.
